Very famous artist but I wasn't familiar with this painting. Who is the artist?

Who is the artist? I have to comment that this was one of the only pictures I photographed and noticed that the colors weren't right in the photo - there is much more brown in the photo than what I could see in the actual painting. I tried moving around to get a truer color and nothing worked. I find that interesting.

So many dancers - why?
