Evan's Graduating!

We sent these announcements out to aunts and uncles etc and cousins far, far away who would have no chance of seeing it on their parent's frig. But we want everyone to have a chance to see the fabulous announcement and the picture that went along.

There is a story about the picture(s) - we only had 16 of the formal graduation picture. So Evan had a photo shoot with Claire. The above photo is the one Evan picked to go out with the rest of the announcements and what follows are some of the others from the shoot. Cheeeeeeeeese

We love you Evan! We're very proud of you!

Eagle Evan

It's finally all official - Evan has been awarded his Eagle Scout award.

With Grandmas and Grandpas coming out for various graduation events we decided to have the Court of Honor this past Sunday. We did it with another boy from his troop, Merek Judd, a younger boy but a good friend. It was fun for them to be able to receive their awards together.

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of our scouting boys. They couldn't have done it without you.

Claudia Graduated!!!

Claudia graduated from the Cabrillo College Dental Hygeine program on Friday June 4, 2010.

GO CLAUDIA!!!

Kelly provided lovely music for us all while we waited for the ceremony to begin and she played again for us when it was over. She did a great job - beautiful music!

Look who else was there. Joslyn flew in from WA on Friday morning, Jeff came home from Idaho and Andy from New York, they arrived on Thursday night. It was a total surprise to Claudia.

Claudia with a thank you gift from her fellow classmates. Claudia was responsible for any thank yous that needed to go out from their class. Thus they were thanking her for her thank yous.

She's getting her pin.
The new graduates taking The Dental Hygiene Oath.

Way to go Claudia! Good luck on your boards. You can do it!!!

We have Strawberries

I've tried to grow strawberries twice - well three times if you count last year but I wasn't able to find strawberry plants, there seemed to be a bit of a shortage(I ended up planting herbs in this pot instead). So twice I've actually planted strawberries - two years ago - and no success - and this year with - as you can see - SUCCESS! I just had to share since it is a new success for me.
